Science

Skin is the largest organ in the human body. It covers an area of almost 2m2. With age, a number of changes occur. Cells become less able to fight oxidative stress. Genetic mutations build up. In addition, epigenetic changes take place. In other words, gene expression is deregulated.

Problematic

Beyond what is genetically determined, exogenous aging is caused by environmental factors such as exposure to sunlight and pollution.

They can accelerate the undesirable effects of age on the appearance of the skin. The result is a gradual decrease in elasticity, hydration and skin volume, It leads to the apparition of fine lines, wrinkles, and then sagging of the face and body skin.

Methodology

Our approach consists of stimulating your skin cells’ DNA to produce molecules that decrease with age, as well as factors responsible for cell regeneration.

We use our know-how in aging genetics and bioinformatics to simulate in silico experiments enabling to choose the most effective anti-aging molecules as well as to determine the best synergies and dosages.

Research into details

In recent decades, the rise of IT and biotechnology has given birth to revolutionary tools allowing to analyze our cells. The cost-effectiveness of these methods has evolved by a factor of several billion in less than 20 years.

On the one hand, this made it possible to generate a considerable amount of data coming from hundreds of thousands of studies and to store them in pharmacology and genetics databases.

On the other hand, epigenetics – the science cellular changes peripheral to DNA – has grown considerably. It helps understanding how to stimulate cells to produce specific proteins.

The innovation lies in our strategy consisting of applying concepts of epigenetics to our knowledge in the field of aging in order to stimulate skin cells to produce anti-aging molecules.

Technically, we have used tools pertaining to artificial intelligence to perform in silico experiments on these genomics and pharmacology databases in order to determine the ingredients best suited to stimulate skin cells to produce molecules responsible for elasticity, hydration, photoprotection and skin regeneration.

The results were confirmed through an exhaustive review of scientific publications in the field. The molecules we have chosen have been tested in humans, and are proven to be effective and harmless. In addition, we have decided to eliminate all potentially irritating or allergenic ingredients.

Our formulations are then validated in clinical trials for your safety and your guarantee of obtaining the best effectiveness.
